GroupWise E-Mail Client
The standard e-mail application for NIU faculty and staff is GroupWise.
How do I get the GroupWise Client from Off-Campus - you must have a NIU IP address to download the client, to do this you will need to have VPN installed.

- Download the GroupWise 7.0.2 client:
- CD ISO Image: The image can be used to create your own installation CD. The CD contains all the clients referenced above for Windows, Macintosh, And Linux.

- Off-campus GroupWise users can download the clients listed above, but it it may be necessary to first connect to the NIU Network via VPN, PPTP, etc. Please follow the same steps required to connect to the NIU Libraries in order to download these clients.
GroupWise Instant Messenger (GWIM) Client
The instant messenger client is available for users with GroupWise accounts. The GWIM client is independent of the GroupWise client.
