ITS at Northern Illinois University has a site license for distributing SPSS for Microsoft Windows, and SPSS for Mac OS X to NIU faculty and staff. Our license includes the Base, Regression Models, and Advanced Models products and a limited number of Trends and AMOS copies. Check the ITS Software Distribution site to get a subscription form.
Students who wish to purchase SPSS software can do so at the HSC Bookstore, which also stocks SPSS manuals.
SPSS for Windows or Mac OS features a spreadsheet-like data editor, integrated graphics, GUI interface, data management facilities (the number of variables and cases it can handle is limited only by the amount of RAM and disk space available), and comprehensive statistical procedures.
