Non-catalog classes are defined as classes that do not appear in the Northern Illinois University (NIU) Registration and Records Course Catalog. ITS managed labs are available for a charge on a limited basis for workshops, seminars and other instructional purposes. The scheduling request must be received one week prior to the event to allow adequate processing time. Earlier notification will increase the likelihood that lab space and resources can be secured.

Note: In accordance with the NIU Acceptable Use Policy, every customer using a networked computer must have an individually assigned AccountID. If members of the workshop or class do not have a NIU AccountID (student Z-ID or staff ID), guest ID's can be assigned so access to computing services can be granted.
