Can students get a GroupWise mailbox?

Only student employees and graduate assistants working for a specific department or organization can get a GroupWise account. The IT coordinator must complete and approve the on-line Computer Access Request . The GroupWise mailbox will be attached to the student's AccountID and is separate from their student e-mail account.

How do I cancel a GroupWise student mailbox?

The IT coordinator must e-mail tbeck@niu.edu. For 30 days, messages sent to that mailbox will be rejected and returned to the sender. After that, the e-mail account will be deleted and purged from the network. The student's NIU mailbox is not affected.

How I change my information?

To change your name, fill out the Personal Data Form on the Human Resources Forms page. It's the second form on the page. To change your phone number, fill out the Faculty/Staff directory form.
